READ-IT introduced to conference delegates at SHARP, 9-12 July 2018

Flyers for the READ-IT project were distributed at ‘From First to Last: Texts, Creators, Readers, Agents’, the annual conference of the Society for the History of Reading, Authorship and Publishing (SHARP) at the University of Western Sydney, Parramatta, Australia, 9-12 July 2018. READ-IT consortium members Dr Shafquat Towheed (UK PI, The Open University) and Dr Corinna Norrick-Rühl (Johannes Gutenberg Universitat, Mainz – pictured below, left) attended the conference. SHARP is the world’s largest scholarly association for researchers in the history of the book, publishing and reading, with over 1400 members; the annual conference usually attracts 300 or so delegates.
